BuddySign does not guarantee that VA will accept, consider, rely on, or give any particular weight to a statement created through BuddySign.
BuddySign does not guarantee service connection, increased ratings, effective dates, back pay, appeal results, or any other VA outcome.
5. Truth and Accuracy Required
All statements should be truthful, accurate, and based on facts.
Do not invent, exaggerate, coach, pressure, or fabricate facts. Do not create or submit false statements.
6. Witness Must Personally Review and Sign
The witness must personally review the statement before signing.
The witness should sign only if the statement is true and based on what the witness personally knows, saw, heard, or observed.
The veteran must not sign for the witness.
7. AI Output Warning
If you use AI tools, including VA Claim Battle Buddy or any other AI assistant, you are responsible for reviewing all output. AI can misunderstand, omit context, or produce unsupported language.
Do not submit AI-generated content unless you have reviewed it and confirmed it is truthful, accurate, and supported by your actual facts.
8. Use Official Sources
For official VA forms, filing rules, deadlines, benefits, and procedures, use VA.gov or consult a qualified representative.
BuddySign is an organizational tool. It is not a substitute for official VA guidance or qualified professional help.
